Recognizing the importance of early detection and its impact on health, life and safety of all Illinois residents, the Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security is urging all residents to take time to test their home for radon.

The Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security Radon program staff informs Illinois citizens about the risks associated with radon and how to reduce radon levels in their homes. The Agency also licenses and regulates the individuals who provide radon measurement and mitigation to the public.
