"How to Achieve Interoperability in Illinois" Professional Development Series Workshop 

Statewide Interoperability Training
The workshop will highlight best practices and resources available to improve interoperable communications from everyday use to critical incidents. Topics include the new Statewide Interoperability Template (SWIT), hands-on radio training, alerts and warning, and communications resources available to public safety organizations in Illinois. Workshop is open to police, fire, EMS, EMA, public safety telecommunicators, healthcare emergency preparedness, and individuals completing their IEMA-OHS Professional Development Series Certificate. Attendees, please bring an agency handheld radio for the hands-on portion. If you do not have an issued radio, there will be a limited number of hand-held radios available for use by attendees.
